Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Offering Cup Stand　

This is a Japanese offering cup stands for a Buddhist altar. Also called bukki, this important altar accessory is made of brown resin with a painted gold front side in a simple hexagonal shape. It is used often in pairs to hold small cups of rice, sake, and acts as an offering to Buddha and one’s ancestors.
