Vtg Japanese Buddhist Altar Butsudan Decorative Parts

This is a vintage Japanese part of a Buddhist altar. It is a very beautiful decorative small door frame made of wood with a black lacquer coating and gold accents. It has brass decorative metal plates that feature vines. Originally it housed small sliding doors at the front of the altar, but it can be used as a spare part, for repair, or for decoration. This item would also make a remarkable DIY picture frame or shadowbox.
