Japanese Rice Offering Cup Buddhist Altar Fitting Butsugu
This is a Japanese Buddhist altar fitting, rice offering cup Buppanki. It’s made of golden brass, and on the back is written Kyo Special. The rice offered to Buddhist altars is called “Buppan”. In the Jodo Shinshu Otani sect, we use the term “Obuku”.
