Japanese Yoraku Hanging Altar Lantern

This is a vintage Japanese Buddhist altar-fitting pair of Yoraku. Yoraku is a hanging Buddhist item that is a beautiful decoration for any home altar and also serves as an amulet. This wooden set, Fukagasa yoraku, has a design of leaves and bells. Each yoraku has eight strands with wooden pieces spaced out by brown beads. Metal parts are used for hanging and connecting.
