Japanese Rice Offering Cup Buddhist Altar Fitting Butsugu
This is a two-piece set of Japanese rice offering cups, Buppanki, made for use in a Buddhist altar. These cups are small and made of brass metal with plastic resin bases. The rice offered to Buddhist altars is called “Buppan”. In the Jodo Shinshu Otani sect, we use the term “Obuku”.
