Japanese Buddhist Altar Fitting Orin Bell

This is a vintage Japanese brass metal orin bell for Buddhist altars. 
Singing bowls are sounded during ritual prayer. The sound of an Orin bell can reach the Buddha in the Pure Land. Sound is also used to ward off evil spirits and convey prayers to the Buddha, ancestors, and the deceased.
