This item is a Japanese vintage Buddhist altar candle holder stand. This small brass metal candlestick is gold and has a very simple, classic design with a bell-like base. Candlestands or candlesticks are basic Buddhist tools used in most sects and an essential for Buddhist altars (Butsudan).
