Vintage Japanese Lacquered Wooden Drink Saucers

This is a six-piece set of vintage Japanese wooden lacquered drink saucers/coasters, or chataku. Brushed with a clear lacquer coating, these coasters can be set in a matching container with a handle. The coaster has carved multiple circles inside, which slope slightly downward to the center. It comes with the cardboard box.
