Vintage Japanese Bamboo Plate

This is a vintage Japanese bamboo plate. Woven with finely cut, thin strips of bamboo, this lightweight plate lies flat at the bottom and has two small faux decorative handles on the sides. This can be used for many purposes including for traditional wagashi and mochi sweets and for presenting rolled wet hand towels (oshibori) for guests. This item can also be used as a general serving or trinket tray.
