Vintage Japanese Wooden Drink Coasters w/ Storage

This item is a set of vintage Japanese drink saucers/coasters, also known as chataku. A set of six, these chataku are made up of a solid rim with a clear plastic base. On the topside are various thin washi paper-printed cutouts of butterflies and foliage over a web-like white washi paper. It comes with a bamboo stand that holds all six coasters and has two handle for easy transport. The base has a small piece of glass for a teacup or glass to rest on. It comes in the original paper box.
