Japanese Hanging Scroll Weights Fuchin w/Box

This is a pair of Japanese hanging scroll (kakejiku) weights, or fuchin. Fuchin is a decoration that hangs on both ends of the bottom of a hanging scroll. It’s a decoration as well as weighs the scroll down to keep it straight. This item features marbled agate stone spheres with a combination of white, light brown, and dark brown color in the grain. The holes on either end of the stones are capped with metal. It has green tassels with a gold accent under layer. The original box is included.
