Japanese Ceramic Pottery Yunomi Teacup

This is a vintage Japanese Agano ware ceramic teacup from Fukuoka. The outside of this piece shows a deep green glaze with pooling near the foot, and the inside features a floating milky, pale, bluish-green glaze.
Teacups are called yunomi, made for serving and drinking sencha (standard loose-leaf tea). This particular small teacup is part of a traditional Senchado tea set and is called senchawan. These small teacups, Senchawan, are traditionally used for sencha tea ceremonies, but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
