Antique Japanese Buddhist altar Butsudan

This is a set of 2 Beautiful Japanese Buddhist Altar doors. In Japan, the Buddhist altar is a place to enshrine the principal image that is the center of faith, and is a sacred place to hold memorial services for ancestors as a “small temple in the home”.

• Approx. each door 77x25x2cm
• Good condition considering its age. The hinges that connect to the altar have been bent a bit but are salvageable.  There are some signs of age on the metal work which gives the piece a great aged look.  Please see the photos.
