4 years ago we were lucky enough to get the contract to supply all the movie props for the Apple TV+ series Pachinko. This was a multi month contract where we acquired many items from the early 1900’s through the 1970’s for the filming of the show. The show was a big hit and was picked up for a second season. We are very grateful and proud to announce that Chidori Vintage was once again tapped to supply items for the second season.
The second season was a slightly smaller project than season one because the production company already had a lot of items from the last season. We procured over 1000 items for the second season from various sources. We visited Japanese auctions, estate sales, antique shops, and our favorite, the Osu Antique Market in Nagoya.
