The piece is painted using only three colors: white, black, and gold. Yet, it is a very powerful image. This piece is titled, signed, and has a red seal. The title is written on the outside of the scroll. The wooden box has inscriptions and a label on the outside and the inside of the lid.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKakejiku is a Japanese picture or calligraphy mounted on a piece of paper. Kakejiku was a tool to spread Buddhism in Japan. It has been integrated with Japanese culture as interior decoration. Tokokake is used at the Tokonoma in tatami room.
