Japanese Wooden Trivet Mat Nabeshiki
This is a vintage Japanese wooden trivet mat for a pot or kettle. This is in the shape of a fish and the surface is processed with burnt cedar. It has long been used as a trivet for pots because the carbonized surface makes it difficult for dirt to stick. In addition, even if you put a hot pan on it, it will not leave any burn marks (already burnt), so you can use it without hesitation.
