Vintage Japanese Wooden Lacquered Serving Tray w/ Box

This is a Japanese vintage wooden lacquered tray, or Obon, typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one's home, business, etc. A glossy black with a lined pattern, this sturdy square tray with uniquely lifted edges (called Fukiage) provides both function and beautiful decor. This particular tray is used for snacks. The original box is also included.

  • Good condition considering its age. Light scratches. Some discolorations on box lid. Wear and tear due to age. Box has a torn edge. Please see the photos.
