The inside depicts \u003cem\u003eOtafuku,\u003c\/em\u003e a traditional Japanese lucky charm\u003cem\u003e. \u003c\/em\u003e The unglazed outside features a sculpture of an \u003cem\u003eOni\u003c\/em\u003e or a devil face. This design is from \u003cem\u003eSetsubun,\u003c\/em\u003ea traditional Japanese event held in February.
