The synthetic fabric lanterns are white with large images of peonies, chrysamthemums, and a distant temple. They fit snuggly on their faux wood plastic frames. They fit semi-flat in the original box. They have electric lights with a plastic blue covering that spins when the lightbulb becomes warm. There are two long white tassels that hang from the top piece.
