This particular chabako is unique in that it is in a black lacquered wooden display case with glass doors and simple metal accents on the top corners. It is reminiscent of a traditional \u003cem\u003ehondoko\u003c\/em\u003e alcove's \u003cem\u003etokowaki\u003c\/em\u003e (staggered shelves) and has a tatami base and shoji screen at the back.
