It is coated with gold and black lacquer. It contains one removable tabletop piece. The edges are decorated with simple brass metal. The top piece has a unique lacquer technique called \u003cem\u003enishiji nuri\u003c\/em\u003e, a lacquer style that usually features glossy black with copper-colored flecks or glitter.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan size=\"5\"\u003eIn the case of memorial services, a piece of cloth called \u003cem\u003eUchishiki\u003c\/em\u003e is inserted between the two top pieces. There are two types of offering tables Maejyoku and Uwajyoku. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan size=\"5\"\u003eMaejoku is placed in front of the Shumidan. It is used for 3 Gusoku (candle stand, flower vase, and incense burner). \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan size=\"5\"\u003eUwajoku is placed in front of Amidanyorai.
