It has a blue Sometsuke floral pattern and a shishi lion's picture drawn on it. There is a waving shape around the edge. \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe age of the pottery can be roughly understood by looking at the bottom. From the end of the Edo period to the beginning of the Meiji period, it was made using a manufacturing method that did not apply glaze to the bottom so that it would not stick to the kiln. It is called Janome Koudai because it looks like a snake's eye. \u003c\/span\u003eLittle distortion is seen in the bowl. Because it was fired with firewood instead of gas or electricity as it is today, the temperature was not stable and easy to warp. \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThere are (goma) sesame spots and dust marks.
