Vtg Japanese Saucer Coaster Chataku

This is a vintage Japanese drink saucer or coaster. White porcelain plate and wood board fitted in together. This wooden board is burned cedar, and the purpose of the burn is to carbonize the surface to increase durability. A blue rope picture is drawn on the porcelain plate. This unique 5-piece set, featuring traditional Japanese design, is the perfect addition to any kitchen or living room.
