Japanese Tea Ceremony Utensil 

This is a vintage Japanese haboki feather brush used to fan the charcoal during the tea ceremony (Sado). It is made from natural material: several white feathers and a dried leaf. This item can be used for the tea ceremony or for decoration. This item comes with the original box.

• Approx. 32 cm long x 8 cm wide
• Good condition considering its age. Unused but the tip of feathers is yellow. Some damage to the box. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
• Acquired at an estate sale of an old Japanese family in Nagoya, Japan
