Vintage Japanese Postcard

This vintage Japanese colorized postcard features a photograph of a matsuri float from the Kyoto Gion Festival. This particular float (or dashi in Japanese) is called Suwamhoko, or Hokahoko nowadays. People and puppets are riding the float.

• Good condition considering its age.  Some damage all around the postcard (paper is missing). Marks and wrinkles on back. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
• Acquired from the famous Osu Antique Market in Nagoya, Japan.
