Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Bell

This is a vintage Japanese wooden bell from Yoro, Gifu. This round bell has a grooved texture along the wooden grain and a smooth top with a braided yellow cord. It is hollow and contains a small metal bell inside; the bell’s sound is a beautiful mix of wooden resonance and metallic bell tone. It has a sticker on the side and a paper tag tied to the cord.
