Vtg Japanese Ceramic Green Tea Bowl

This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, or matcha chawan. It is fully covered with a beige glaze, and translucent white glaze makes natural running and pooling.
It has a shallow shape with a generously wide width for the summer tea ceremony. It allows the tea to cool slightly before drinking from the open air.
Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
