Vintage Japanese Porcelain Lidded Bowl

This is a Japanese vintage porcelain bowl with a lid, mushiwan. Mushiwan is used when cooking chawanmushi, steamed egg custard.  This blue and white bowl features a design of hydrangeas and leaves.  It has a signature on the bottom.

• Good condition considering its age.  Chip on the lid handle. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
• We got this item at an antique auction in Tajimi in Gifu, Japan
