Vintage Japanese School Class Photograph

This is an original vintage early Showa Era photograph of a class of students in black and white. The boys all wear school uniforms with caps that double as military uniforms for training. Around the time of WWII, schools introduced military education as a subject and included training on various categories of military activity including tactics, weaponry, first aid, etc.
