Japanese Buddhist Costume Rakusu

This is a Japanese Buddhist costume surplice, Rakusu.  It is worn around the neck like an apron by Buddhist monks during services. It is made by sewing several pieces of fabric together, and this design is called fukudenne, another name for kesa.   It is purple with a gold family crest at the center. A tiepin and a badge with the same family crest are included. It comes with the paper bag.
