This is a Japanese vintage brushed lacquer cup or small bowl used to serve small snacks, such as nuts and small senbei, while serving and drinking sake. It is a beautiful caramel brown with no added detail for a simplistic look. It can also be used for storing jewelry and other small trinkets.
