Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Doll

This vintage Japanese wooden doll has a simple, classic design. The body is straight with carved flowers and a black and reddish-orange check pattern. The face style is young with a playful expression and the hair is styled into a bun. 
Kokeshi dolls are traditional toys and figurines crafted from wood that are an excellent decorative representation of Japanese craftsmanship and traditional culture.
