Vtg Japanese Prince Hina Doll 

This adorable vintage prince ohinasama doll dressed in a rich blue, gold, and purple kimono is the perfect addition to any existing hina set or adds gorgeous Eastern flair to any home decor. He holds a simple folded wood fan and a gold hat with purple string and tassels on his head. This prince doll comes with a resin stand, the top part covered in silk to mimic tatami. The doll is made in the kimekomi style, which is crafted by adhering and pressing silk fabric onto a carved wooden, resin, or clay base.

The Hinamatsuri (Doll’s Festival) in Japan is a traditional event celebrated on March 3rd every year. Its purpose is primarily to wish for the healthy growth and happiness of girls. Hina dolls are an essential part of the festival and are prominently displayed in homes during it.
