Vintage Japanese Porcelain Rice Bowl

This item is a vintage Japanese porcelain rice bowl. The design on this wide-mouthed small bowl looks like bamboo leaves floating in a river stream. The top rim and the foot are painted with a glossy greenish-gray color. It can also be used for side dishes. Rice bowls are made to be lightweight and held in one hand (thumb on rim, other fingers on foot).
