Vintage Japanese Porcelain Rice Bowl

This item is a vintage Japanese porcelain rice bowl. This wide-mouthed small bowl is white with a blue painting, Sometsuke.  It has a plant design outside and a leaf and vine-like design inside. It can also be used for side dishes. Rice bowls are made to be lightweight and held in one hand (thumb on rim, other fingers on foot).
