Antique Japanese Wooden Lacquer Serving Tray, Obon

This antique lacquer Japanese serving tray is made of wood. It is black and designed with Japan’s national flag, a star, the Kanji letters, and flowers. It is square with slightly raised sides so drinks cannot easily slide off. 

Obon (serving trays) are typically used to serve drinks and snacks to guests in one’s home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
