Japanese Wooden Doll Figurine

This vintage Japanese wooden doll figurine represents the lion as in the lion dance, or shishimai. The lion has a wooden black, red and gold mask and a green cloth covering its body. This figurine is articulated and can “dance” when pressing a button under the base.
