Japanese Wooden Kokeshi Doll Figurine

This vintage Japanese wooden kokeshi doll figurine represents a black lion and a tengu, two characters of the lion dance, in Japanese shishimai, performed in Furukawa Sugo (Gifu prefecture). Kokeshi dolls are traditional toys that can easily be used for decorative purposes.

• Good condition considering age. Some of the red paint is gone. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
