Vintage Japanese Vermilion Ink Pad  Container

This is a vintage Japanese vermilion ink pad container with a lid. This container is for ink used for Hanko or Inkan, the Japanese seals. This blue and white porcelain container is Arita ware. The handle is in the shape of Shishi or lion. Mountainous scenery is painted on the surface. Green felt fabric is pasted on the bottom. Ink is not included.
