Vtg Japanese Lacquered Flower Vase, Kabin w/Box

This is a shunkei-nuri flower vase (kabin) from Hida Takayama in Gifu, a traditional and popular craft in Japan. It is a glossy brown lacquer. You can arrange the flower stand (two boards) as you like for decorative appeal. There is a secured bronze insert inside to protect the wood from water and plant material. It comes with the original paper box.
