Vintage Japanese Kabuto Helmet Display w/ Lacquered Wood Box

This is a vintage Japanese decorative brass samurai helmet, or kabuto. In the yoshitsune style, it has brass metal maedate. The curled sides, or fukikaeshi, depict floral motifs in metal pieces and the ornament at the top is a dragon. It has an orange pair of silk tassels tied at the base. It can be disassembled. This helmet comes in a black lacquered wooden box that is used as part of the display. In order to help the helmet stand up, there is a small stand as well as a decorative purple cloth to put beneath it.
