Antique Japanese Ceramic Bowl

This item is an antique Japanese ceramic bowl made for salads. It is a beautiful example of the kutani imari style of pottery which uses bright, vivid colors often with gold accents and elaborate images of scenery, animals, flowers, etc. This particular bowl features large floral depictions of paulownia (kiri) in red, green, black, and gold.

• Good condition considering age. Raised spots on inside under glaze. Small chip-like imperfection on rim. Imperfections in glaze, shape, and design due to production. Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos carefully.
