This is a vintage Japanese ceramic green tea bowl, Matcha Chawan. It is black with a design of an ancient bridge on the front. This bowl has a glossy finish and is signed on the bottom. This sturdy bowl is easy to handle. Green tea bowls are traditionally used for preparing and drinking green tea during tea ceremonies but can be used in many scenes of modern everyday life.
