Vintage Japanese Kabuto Helmet Display

This is a vintage Japanese decorative iron samurai helmet, or kabuto. In the yoshitsune style, it has brass metal maedate. The curled sides, or fukikaeshi, depict floral motifs and the ornament at the top is a dragon. It has an orange pair of tassels tied at the base. It can be disassembled.

• Good condition considering age. Some patina on brass section. Scratches. Discoloration and fading on pillow and tassels. Tear in pillow fabric (fragile). Wear and tear due to age. Please see the photos.
