Vintage Japanese Lacquer Wooden Serving Tray

This is a Japanese vintage lacquered wood serving tray, or Obon. This round lacquer serving tray is a modern take on the traditional red and black design. It is black on the top and on the bottom and features a red edge. There is a red seal on the bottom. This tray comes in its original paper box.

Obon (serving trays) are typically used for serving drinks and snacks to guests in one’s home, business, etc. They provide both function and beautiful decor.
